ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Shahnaaz Mason is a freelance writer, an Army veteran, a military wife, and a mother of four. She is also an aspiring screenwriter who co-wrote, Cathy Williams Female Buffalo Soldier with her husband. She is the author of the Journal of Meditation and Application and has written for The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, The Salisbury Post, Hawaii Army Weekly among others. While her children were young, Shahnaaz taught Middle School Language Arts. She has been a youth ministry leader and an intercessory prayer leader at her church, but considers her role as wife and mother as her most important.
